In Store Purchases
When you make a purchase from this small business, approximately ½ of those dollars goes toward merchandise from our Fair Trade, USA Made, and Artisan-crafted brands. The other approximate ½ of your purchase goes to rent, utilities, insurance, payroll, shop improvements, and other random expenses.
What does this have to do with returns?
This is why returns are very difficult for our business (or any small business) to absorb. This is why, for new clothing, we only offer exchanges or store credit within 14 days of purcahse. All other purchases, including from our sustainable consignment section, are final sale.
We want you to be delighted with your purchase and will strive to fix any issues that may arise. However, we ask that you make your purchases thoughtfully and with our policy in mind. We are grateful for you, our loyal customers, and want to be here for your shopping pleasure for years to come.

For clothing items:
Unwashed and unworn online purchases may be returned within 14 days of arrival. Customer is responsible for return shipping. The return shipping address is: Tigress 2302 Chapel Hill Rd Durham NC 27707.
Once your returned item is received and inspected, we will send you an email notifying you that the returned item has been received and that your refund will be processed. A credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. This should appear at your bank within 5-7 days. If you do not see your refund within 7 business days, please email tigressdurham@gmail.com.
